- Design, scope, deliver, validate and handover automation solutions for our supply chain
- Maintain key technical expertise of the automation aspect of our assets to support the asset lifecycle.
- Executes all the activities required to ensure that computerized systems are fit for intended use and compliant with applicable regulations throughout the entire system life cycle
- Responsible for implementing the ISA-95 level 1 and 2 systems.
- Project leadership of Automation projects, including obtaining agreement on project definitions and priorities and ensuring that resources, capabilities and processes are in place.
- Execution of Automation standards and delivery of business results
- Drives business process standardization across cluster, platforms and enterprise.
- Establishes Automation related system roadmaps
- Promotes innovative solutions in core area.
- Improves processes and/or methodologies
- Supports in defining department, project and/or program goals and tactics.
- Defines objectives to achieve targets on a business unit level, site or cluster level
- Contributes to the development of business and/or functional strategies and capabilities related to Automation.
- For Automation projects - Develop and present the Intake presentation outlining the business opportunity or need, business drivers, investigated solution proposals, proposed preferred solution (and rationale), proposed and project scope, timeline, resource requirements, and financials, supporting business case, project risks, etc.
- During projects, the Automation Project Engineer can act as the technical system owner for approval of design and qualification documentation
- Keeps partners (incl. senior management) informed on project status, outlook, risks and established important metrics for the project.
- Partner with JJT utilizing an integrated Automation approach
- High degree of collaboration with internal partners (Manufacturing, EHSS, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance , Facilities) to develop standards and define needs and priorities
- Collaboration with external partners in order to develop and/or execute engineering scope
- Extensive interaction with industry (benchmarking, collaboration) as well as external partners (remove barriers, clarify roles and responsibilities, drive adherence to expectations).
- Develop engineering scope with regards to projects regarding automation.
- Participation within engineering projects as a CTM or ETM with the responsibility to deliver automation scope

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:
€72 500,00 - €115 230,00
