Job Description

As a Security Officer Visitor Management in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location as a Front Desk professional, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a technology-focused location.
• Monitor lobby and reception area activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or access credentials, and direct guests, vendors, and staff in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and documenting observations according to post instructions.
• Support access control operations by helping to deter unauthorized entry, maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary credentials when assigned, and communicating with site contacts regarding arrivals and deliveries.
• Complete routine reports and front desk documentation, answer phones and/or radios, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
