Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Review Specialist in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol a commercial property, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will stay visible, conduct routine patrols, and respond to site needs with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, innovative team.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and document security-related issues, disturbances, and/or property concerns.
• Communicate with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed regarding incidents, post activity, and/or changing location conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
