Warehouse Receiving Associate - Chesapeake, VA

Overview

Seacoast, a GCG Company, is currently hiring a Warehouse Receiving Associate to join our tight knit team in Chesapeake, VA! In this role, you will be responsible for receiving trucks, creating and sending paperwork, managing inventory, and assisting with other warehouse receiving duties.

Hours: 7AM to 4PM Mon-Fri with an hour for lunch

Pay: $21/hr + full benefits

Location: 3800 Cook Blvd. Chesapeake, VA 23323

What You'll Do

• Receive in trucks and transfer material to specific locations
• Inspect and verify package contents, including quantity, part numbers, and any required certifications
• Utilize ERP system (Oracle) to enter receiving data and handle documentation including BOLs, packing slips, invoices, Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)
• Schedule and coordinate incoming deliveries 
• Conduct cycle counts and update inventory reports
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with housekeeping duties
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed

 

What You'll Bring

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• 2+ years in a warehouse receiving department required
• Forklift experience required (sit  down, stand up, or order picker)
• Computer literacy required (Oracle experience a plus)
• Basic math and reading skills
• Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
