Position Title: Associate Counsel
Position Reports To: General Counsel
Position Summary
The Associate Counsel will be responsible for drafting and reviewing a variety of commercial and corporate contracts and provide legal support across multiple business units throughout the United States and Canada.
Essential Functions
Drafts, reviews, and negotiates master service agreements and other commercial contracts.
Coordinates with business leaders to ensure contracts are developed in line with division and corporate objectives.
Assists in the development and integration of Apache’s contracting policies.
May provide legal support and contribute to litigation, human resources, and/or risk management functions.
Other Duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Juris Doctorate (J.D.) Degree
Licensed by the State of Texas to practice law
Minimum of three (3) years’ legal experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
