Description
We are working with a local law firm Saudi Arabia as they continue their build out of a strong corporate practice. The firm in recent months has made hires into the team and they are now on the lookout for a corporate paralegal confident with a range of company incorporations and filings.
You would join a small but well regarded team of partners and associates from major international law firms working on high-profile matters both within and outside of the Kingdom.
Experience that candidates MUST have include:
- Incorporating LLCs;
- Amending Articles of Association (“AoA”);
- Renewing and amending Commercial Registration Certificates (“CRs”);
- Filing annual confirmation statements;
- Reserving tradenames;
- Completely fluent in Arabic;
- Guiding clients on issuing powers of attorney for incorporation and drafting the powers of attorney;
- All filings with the SBC and MOC.
Preferred competencies include:
- Incorporating Closed Joint Stock (“CJSC”) and Simplified Joint Stock Companies (“SJSC”).
- Amending bylaws for CJSCs and SJSCs.
- Convening extraordinary and ordinary general assemblies and preparing all associated documentation (EGM/OGM minutes of meeting, invitations, summons, voting cards, resolutions etc)
- Fluency in English.
- Experience in other areas of corporate law (e.g. commercial contracts, general advisory, legal opinions on regulatory issues, M&A).
Firm preference for Saudi nationals for this role, but in exceptional circumstances non-Saudi Arabic speakers may be considered on a case by case basis.
