Overview
Ultrasound technologist operates diagnostic ultrasound equipment to perform clinical exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards. Provides patient care across all age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. Must demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Requires graduation from approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or approved Sonography Program by ARRT, ARDMS/ARRT registry, and BCLS certification.

Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.Responsibilities

Education
- Graduate of an approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or an approved Sonography Program by the ARRT required

- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
