- Lead social housing disrepair cases from notification to verified completion and closure, coordinating allocated teams with clear ownership, resources and escalation routes, within agreed line-management, budget, contract and settlement authority.
- Strong knowledge of repairing and fitness obligations, damp and mould, Awaab’s Law and HHSRS. - Deliver an agreed work-in-progress reduction plan using reliable baselines, bottleneck resolution and realistic closure forecasts reflecting demand, readiness and capacity. Monitor stage movements, ageing, resident outcomes and repair, damages and legal costs; highlight data limitations and decisions required.
- Maintain audit-ready evidence with update owners and quality checks. Improve and test case-system workflows, stages, mandatory fields and alerts; use defect and complaint trends to drive prevention, supporting adoption and handover to client teams.
- Demonstrable experience of reducing disrepair caseloads and overdue cases, improving works completion and achieving evidenced case closures through multidisciplinary team leadership and effective contractor management.
