- Coordinate with engineering, project management, environmental consultants, and regulatory agencies to support timely permit approvals.
- Review environmental permit applications, technical reports, environmental assessments, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Evaluate environmental constraints during project planning and development and communicate potential impacts to project leadership.
- Support environmental requirements for site development, construction, commissioning, and project closeout.
- Track permit conditions and ensure applicable requirements are incorporated into project plans, construction documents, and field procedures.
- Assist with evaluating environmental risks associated with project changes, site modifications, and construction sequencing.
Field Environmental Management
- Conduct and oversee environmental inspections at construction sites and operating facilities to verify compliance with environmental permits and management plans.
- Evaluate site conditions and construction activities for environmental risks, including stormwater discharges, erosion, sedimentation, spills, and improper waste handling.
- Oversee implementation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, and other applicable environmental management plans.
- Identify deficiencies, communicate findings to project leadership, and coordinate timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide technical support during environmental incidents, investigations, and regulatory inquiries.
- Coordinate with construction managers, subcontractors, and field personnel to address environmental concerns and implement appropriate mitigation measures.

Reporting, Documentation, and Audits
- Prepare, review, and maintain environmental compliance reports, inspection records, monitoring data, permit documentation, and regulatory submissions.
- Oversee environmental compliance tracking systems, permit registers, reporting calendars, and corrective action logs.
- Ensure environmental records are complete, accurate, organized, and available for audits or regulatory review.
- Analyze environmental inspection findings and compliance trends to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate responses to environmental information requests, agency inquiries, and audit findings.
- Support the development and maintenance of environmental procedures, plans, and project-specific compliance documentation.

- Recommend improvements to environmental processes, project controls, and compliance practices to support consistent execution across projects.
Environmental Risk Management and Continuous Improvement

- Develop and recommend mitigation strategies to reduce environmental impacts and prevent noncompliance.
- Support the integration of environmental considerations into project planning, construction execution, and commissioning activities.
- Evaluate lessons learned and recurring compliance issues to strengthen environmental management practices.
- Support environmental training and awareness initiatives for project teams and subcontractors.
