In this role, you will oversee material planning, purchasing, inventory management, and supplier relationships for a commercial and industrial HVAC manufacturer. This position focuses heavily on procurement strategies, cost reduction, vendor negotiations, inventory control, and production scheduling. You will lead purchasing and warehouse teams while working closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations to ensure materials are available, costs are controlled, and production runs efficiently.

This position is a DIRECT HIRE role that is a long-term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, materials management, inventory control, production planning, or supply chain leadership within manufacturing.

• Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management.

• Experience with supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.

• Knowledge of production scheduling, material planning, and warehouse operations.

• Previous experience leading purchasing, warehouse, or supply chain teams preferred.

• Strong Microsoft Excel, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

• APICS/CPIM or similar certification preferred.
