We're seeking someone to join our team as a Trade Support Associate to work as part of the Equity Flow OTC Derivatives Trade Support team.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo. This is a Trade Support Associate position at Associate level within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.
The Hong Kong Equity Derivatives Trade Support Group (TSG) is responsible for providing front-to-back operational support for the issuance and lifecycle management of OTC Options, Retail Listed Warrants, Convertible Bonds and SPVs traded by the Equity Sales and Trading desks in Hong Kong and Tokyo for Institutional Equities and Private Wealth Management businesses.
The team acts as the central point of contact for front-to-back business flows and partners closely with Sales & Trading, Strats, Financial Engineering, Treasury, Controllers, Technology, Legal & Compliance and Operations teams. TSG owns key operational controls, coordinates day-to-day booking and break resolution activities, supports new product approvals and provides subject matter expertise on strategic change initiatives.

What you'll do in the role:
Manage trade capture and lifecycle events for OTC Options, Retail Listed Warrants, Convertible Bonds and SPVs.
Partner closely with Sales & Trading to resolve desk and client-related queries.
Monitor operational controls and identify, escalate and resolve reconciliation breaks and exceptions.
Coordinate front-to-back transaction processing activities across multiple stakeholder groups.
Support new product launches by assessing operational readiness and implementation requirements.
Drive process improvement, automation initiatives and control enhancements.
Collaborate with global change management teams on strategic projects and platform enhancements.
Maintain strong working relationships with internal partners to ensure seamless transaction support.
What you'll bring to the role:
Experience in equity derivatives trade support, operations or a related financial services function.
Understanding of equity derivative products and associated trade lifecycles.
Experience supporting Vanilla OTC Options, Retail Listed Warrants, Convertible Bonds and/or SPVs is highly preferred.
Ability to identify and resolve operational issues in a timely and controlled manner.
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across business, technology and operations teams.
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
