Job Title: Senior Master Data Specialist

Overview
We are looking for a Senior Master Data Specialist with extensive experience in managing master data transitions, governance, and validations across various ERP systems, including SAP and Mediaocean. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in global master data processes, ERP migrations, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and data quality management. This role requires a proactive individual with a continuous process improvement mindset who can collaborate effectively with global stakeholders while ensuring data integrity, operational excellence, and compliance.
Responsibilities
· Lead master data transition and migration projects, ensuring successful execution through virtual collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
· Perform comprehensive validation of vendor master data, including legal entity names, tax identification numbers, bank account information, supporting documents, and authorization signatures across multiple countries.
· Create and maintain vendor, client, brand, and business partner master data in SAP, including third-party partners and intercompany relationships.
· Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for ERP enhancements, data migrations, and system implementations.
· Maintain and modify business partner hierarchies, organizational structures, and master data relationships.
· Resolve complex master data queries and provide timely support to internal stakeholders across multiple regions.
· Participate in stakeholder meetings, transition workshops, and governance discussions to ensure alignment with global master data standards.
· Support internal and external audits by ensuring compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and master data governance standards.
· Train, coach, and mentor new joiners and existing team members on master data processes, ERP systems, and best practices.
· Lead quality assurance activities by performing data reviews and completeness checks to ensure high levels of data accuracy and consistency.
· Identify process gaps and recommend automation or standardization opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance data quality.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Procurement, IT, and COE, to drive continuous process improvements and operational excellence.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in Master Data Management within a multinational or shared services environment.
· Experience working in Finance Operations Shared Services (FSS) or Global Business Services (GBS) is highly preferred.
· Strong knowledge of SAP ERP, including master data processes and relevant SAP transactions (T-codes).
· Experience with global vendor onboarding, customer master, and business partner management.
· Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service quality.
· Experience in managing transitions and validations involving complex data sets and diverse stakeholder groups.
Preferred Skills
· Experience with ERP migrations and system integrations, particularly involving SAP.
· Knowledge of Mediaocean, Advertmind, or other media industry ERP platforms is highly advantageous.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Power Query, or other data analysis and reporting tools.
· Experience with workflow automation, OCR, RPA, AI-assisted data validation, or master data governance solutions is an advantage.
· Familiarity with data governance, compliance controls, and audit requirements within Finance Shared Services.
