About the Role
Position Title : Business Analyst – GPP
Corporate Title : Analyst
Internal Title : Analyst/ Sr Analyst
Reporting to : AVP/VP
Location : Bengaluru
Purpose of the Role:
- The purpose of the role of Business Analyst – Payments - GOS Operations and IT solutions - is to support the strategic changes of various payment related projects within MUFG. This role involves implementation of key systems including core banking systems i.e. T24 (TPH) and payment systems including Finastra GPP, TCS Bancs associated projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business processes and reporting requirement, document the requirement and co-ordinate with the development team
- Lead the discussion of gap analysis including documentation like creation of BRD, FSD , BRFSD etc
- Trouble shooting BAU system issues, recording and tracking in JIRA /Confluence tools - liaison with HO , Regional teams and Technical teams for timely closure
- Ensure solid partnerships across branches and maintain relationships with project stakeholders
- Collaborate and co-ordinate with the Technical BA and global partners including vendor
- Develop and execute User Acceptance Test and Migration Plans - focusing on testing related project tasks and deliverables
- Work closely with Operations team, CB team and vendors and ensure the timelines are met without any delays/issues.
- Understand the current process/Product flow and bring solutions for manual process steps, either via Automation via CB or other modes which can be tied up to the process overall.
- Identify issues /risks in terms of current process flow and bring right mitigant to protect banks overall Risk parameters.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders ensuring solutions and prioritizing initiatives to meet business needs and requirements.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for GPP, TCS BANCS and TPH system configuration and customization.
- Work closely with the development and technical teams to ensure successful system implementations and integrations.
- Provide expertise in Payment modules including GPP , TCS BANCS and Temenos TPH modules, configurations, and functionality to support project requirements.
- Maintain project related data repository and prepare business process documentation.
- Provide walkthrough and training to business users as required.
Expertise / knowledge required
- 6-10 years of relevant working experience in bank/GCC in Operations - Payments, Trade finance etc
- Experience of implementation/migration of payments project namely Finastra GPP, Temenos TPH, TCS Bancs RPS etc is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Software Development Project Life Cycle
- Strong communication skills (verbal/written both)
- Working knowledge on project tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Visio etc
- Experience of managing projects and functional teams .
- Good domain expertise in Payments for Asian/European or American markets in with hands on experience in migrating systems.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, RPA, and blockchain.
- Must be a goal-oriented with commitments to duties in a dynamic environment
