The Office of the Dean of Science is seeking a proactive and dedicated individual to join the undergraduate student recruitment and admissions team as an Officer (Student Recruitment & Admissions). The appointee will support student recruitment, admissions operations and program promotion initiatives for the School of Science.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and operational support for undergraduate student recruitment and admissions activities, including handling enquiries and coordinating admissions processes.
- Offer admissions guidance and information to prospective students and applicants.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of recruitment events and outreach activities, including information sessions and promotional programs.
- Produce and manage multimedia and promotional materials, including digital content, for marketing and communication purposes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds and at various levels.
- Occasional work outside normal office hours and travel outside Hong Kong may be required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably with 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the tertiary education sector. Fresh graduates with science or engineering background will also be considered.
- A strong sense of responsibility, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- An outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua).
- Good knowledge of IT and software applications, including Chinese word processing, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience in video editing or digital content production will be an advantage.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and a written test. (Duration: 2 years)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
