About the role:

This role sits within the Member Business Practices & Compliance (MPC) team and plays a key role in ensuring that Herbalife operates in an ethical, compliant, and fair manner across multiple markets. You will be responsible for helping distributors conduct their businesses in line with company policies, local regulations, and European legal requirements, while also supporting the development of a strong compliance culture.

What makes this role particularly interesting is the variety and complexity of the cases you will handle. You will investigate potential compliance concerns, analyze business practices and data, provide guidance to distributors, and partner with internal and external stakeholders on sensitive and high-impact matters. The role offers a unique combination of investigations, compliance, stakeholder management, training, and data analysis.

 

In this role, you will:

• Ensure that Distributor business practices comply with Herbalife policies, local regulations, and European legal requirements
• Conduct investigations into potential compliance violations, including research, fact-finding, analysis, and case management
• Review and analyze reports, data sets, and business intelligence information to identify potential compliance risks and trends
• Handle complex compliance cases and provide recommendations and resolutions in line with company policies and applicable regulations
• Develop and deliver compliance training, coaching, and educational programs for Distributors
• Support audits, assurance activities, and reviews of Distributor business practices and marketing plan qualifications
• Prepare and present compliance case studies, reports, and recommendations to management and senior stakeholders
• Participate in market strategy meetings and provide guidance on compliance requirements, legal developments, and regulatory changes
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Internal Audit, Government Affairs, external authorities, and other internal stakeholders
• Supervise and coordinate compliance activities, projects, and initiatives across Bulgaria.
• Support the Manager with day-to-day operations and provide coverage when required
• Participate in Distributor and corporate events, delivering compliance-related training and education sessions
• Stay up to date with Herbalife policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements affecting Distributor operations

Our requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in Compliance, Customer Service, After Sales, Audit, Investigations, Risk, Legal Support, or a similar field
• Fluent Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
• Experience working in a structured environment with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical and investigative mindset with the ability to identify risks and connect information from different sources
• Experience analyzing reports, data, or business processes and drawing actionable conclusions
• Ability to manage complex cases and sensitive situations independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Additional languages are an advantage
• Independent and self-motivated approach to work
• Resilience and confidence when handling difficult conversations
• High level of maturity, professionalism, and accountability
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Creative problem-solving and “out-of-the-box” thinking
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
