Monday-Friday, Afternoon Shift
The Role
We are seeking for an Afternoon Shift Machine Operator position in our Blow Moulding Team at Salisbury, SA.
Our Salisbury site in Adelaide’s northern suburbs manufactures a range of more than 78 milk and milk-based products. This site is a combined production and distribution facility producing well-known brands such as Pura, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Feel Good; and distributes across predominantly SA and NT, but also NSW and VIC.
This is a 6-month contract position, the standard working hours are from 3PM to 11PM, 5 days a week Monday to Friday. During this role, you will be required to operate machine and blow moulding equipment, as well as monitor the process of product for supply and packaging in accordance with approved procedures, quality standards, and customer specifications.
Responsibilities
Operate machines and identify faults if required
Inspect and ensure finished goods meet quality standard
Recording/ Reporting of production data – including completing downtime sheets
General housekeeping & cleaning is required to quality standard
Support Team Leader/Leading Hand with general duties
About you
Experience in blow moulding/injection moulding in a manufacturing environment
Have a strong safety mindset and ability to work in a team effectively
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Self-starter, able to operate independently
Basic computer literacy skills (Microsoft Words, Excels, PPT, etc…)
