Are you curious about being part of our growth story while evolving your skills in a culture that will welcome your unique contributions? If so, let's start the conversation.
Iron Mountain is seeking a vision-driven Senior Project Manager to join our Data Center Business team.
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale, hyperscale data centre projects that power modern digital infrastructure. Grounded in our commitment to reliability and engineering excellence, your leadership will ensure critical facilities transition seamlessly from early design through full commissioning and handover. You will directly drive project performance, uniting multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders to build the secure, scalable foundations our global clients rely on.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) In this role, you will:
Lead project execution: Oversee multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and consultants to deliver hyperscale data centre developments safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Drive schedule and financial controls: Manage detailed project master schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project while maintaining strict oversight of budgets, forecasts, and change orders.
Manage MEP and critical systems: Direct the installation, integration, and testing of complex high-voltage systems, UPS units, cooling infrastructure, BMS, and redundancy requirements.
Lead commissioning and handover: Coordinate Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and commissioning levels 1 through 5 to guarantee operational readiness and smooth facility transition.
Manage key stakeholders: Serve as the primary operational contact for clients, local authorities, design teams, and internal leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications) The ideal candidate will have:
15–20 years of experience in large-scale construction, with at least 8–10 years dedicated to mission-critical or hyperscale data centre projects.
Strong knowledge of hyperscale data centre delivery, MEP systems integration, commissioning management (IST), and industry standards (such as Uptime Institute Tier Standards, TIA-942, and ASHRAE).
Proven track record of successfully delivering projects exceeding 20 MW IT load within EPC or General Contractor environments.
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (PMP, PE, or Chartered status preferred).
