The Associate Client Enablement & Onboarding supports the successful transition, onboarding, and readiness of new client engagements and expansions across Huron Managed Services. This role partners closely with Client Enablement & Onboarding leadership, Revenue Cycle Operations, Technology, Training, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to coordinate onboarding activities, track progress, and ensure timely execution of onboarding deliverables.
The Associate serves as a key project coordinator, supporting onboarding plans, readiness activities, stakeholder communications, and issue resolution throughout implementation and go-live. This role helps ensure a consistent client onboarding experience while identifying opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and operational effectiveness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Client Enablement & Onboarding:
Support onboarding activities for assigned client implementations, expansions, and operational transitions.
Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones, and status reporting.
Coordinate onboarding tasks across Operations, Technology, Training, Quality, Resource Management, and other stakeholders.
Track readiness activities, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items through completion.
Facilitate onboarding meetings, status updates, and follow-up communications.
Support go-live planning and stabilization activities, including issue tracking and escalation management.
Maintain onboarding documentation, playbooks, templates, and process guides.
Assist in gathering onboarding metrics and preparing leadership reports.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on onboarding efficiency, standardization, and client experience.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate cross-functional deliverables to support onboarding timelines and client readiness.
Escalate risks, delays, and barriers as appropriate to leadership.
Support communications and change management activities throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
Compliance & Privacy:
Ensure onboarding activities align to applicable privacy and security requirements, including HIPAA and protection of PHI/PII.
Coordinate required access provisioning and role-based access controls with Technology and Operations; validate least-privilege access for tools and systems.
Confirm completion of required compliance training and attestations for team members supporting client onboarding and delivery.
Maintain onboarding documentation and evidence needed for audits and client requirements (e.g., process controls, training records, access approvals).
Escalate and support timely resolution of privacy or security concerns, including suspected incidents, in accordance with established reporting procedures.
Business Unit Support: Partner with Sales, Training, Continuous Improvement (CI), Technology, and Operations to support onboarding readiness and execution. Assist with special projects, process improvement initiatives, and operational reporting as assigned.
CORE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in project management, working in a healthcare, consulting, technology, or shared services environment.
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and driving deliverables to completion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Revenue Cycle Management experience preferred but not required.
- Experience supporting client implementations, onboarding, training, or change management initiatives preferred
- Project Management certifications (PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent) preferred
