Product Overview

If you’ve ever driven on a road, traveled by railway, visited a residential subdivision, or shopped or worked at a commercial site, chances are you were on a part of the earth that was designed using Autodesk Civil 3D. If you want to help civil engineers around the world make it easier to build a better, more sustainable world, we want to talk to you about becoming a Product Owner on the Civil 3D Product Management team based in Krakow, Poland.

As a Product Owner, you'll serve as the connection between the problems our customers face and the software solutions that help solve them. You'll partner across Product Management, Engineering, Experience Design, and customers to discover opportunities, validate ideas, and deliver capabilities that improve how civil infrastructure is designed. Every day is different; you might conduct discovery on new product capabilities, uncover insights from product analytics, investigate customer issues, or collaborate with your team to solve challenging design problems. As Autodesk continues to invest in AI-assisted engineering workflows, you'll also have opportunities to influence how these technologies enhance Civil 3D.

At Autodesk, we actively encourage employees to explore and use modern AI tools to improve how we work. You'll also have opportunities to help shape AI-powered capabilities and workflows that enable civil engineers to be more productive in Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Managers, Business Strategy, Sales, and customers to identify customer problems, prioritize opportunities, and help translate them into product strategy, priorities, and roadmap investments.

  • Partner with Experience Design, customers, and engineering teams throughout discovery and research to validate concepts and align on product direction.

  • Lead backlog refinement, user story development, defect prioritization, and sprint planning activities with scrum teams to deliver predictable, high-quality outcomes.

  • Partner across Product Management and Engineering teams responsible for adjacent capabilities to ensure consistent customer experiences and coordinated roadmaps.

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Delivery teams to support successful product launches and customer adoption.

  • Use customer research, product analytics, experimentation, and feedback to continuously improve product direction and measure customer impact.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, infrastructure software, or related technical product domains.

  • Strong familiarity with Autodesk Civil 3D and civil engineering design workflows preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with transportation, civil engineering, GIS, or adjacent AEC software ecosystems is a plus.

  • Experience translating problems into priorities, ideally as product backlogs, user stories, or product requirements.

  • Ability to leverage analytics and balance multiple inputs as part of the roadmap planning process.

  • Desire to engage with a range of stakeholders, from highly technical end users to business leaders.

We recognize that great candidates may not meet every qualification listed above. If your experience is closely related and you're excited about helping shape the future of Civil 3D, we encourage you to apply.
