Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Operations in Bradenton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and communicating professionally with residents, guests, and staff. You will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, document activity, and help deter incidents through attentive service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or clients while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the residential community by verifying authorized entry, greeting visitors, documenting visitor and vendor activity, and directing guests in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate access logs, incident reports, and daily activity records while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
