Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Driver Incident Response in Clearwater, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. This driving role offers the opportunity to support public-facing operations while communicating clearly, working collaboratively, and reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government office location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of public areas, offices, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
