This position is within the Strategic Parts Supply Chain group (SPSC) of the Foundry Construction and Sourcing organization (FCS), with a primary focus on Advanced Packaging/Backend Spares sourcing activities in BESPS Organization.
As an Engineering Commodity Manager, you will play a pivotal role in Intel's supply chain strategy, shaping how we procure and manage critical spare to meet our technological and business objectives. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and supplier relationship management to ensure Intel's supply chain remains innovative, cost-effective, and resilient. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, suppliers, and cross-functional partners to drive solutions that elevate Intel's competitive edge, ensuring continuity, quality, and sustainability in the global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute tailored spare sourcing strategies that align with Intel's technology and business requirements.
Collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers to define standard and custom product requirements, ensuring technical specifications and business goals are met.
Leverage advanced knowledge of local spare markets and industry trends to deliver sustainable cost, quality, and availability solutions to support strategic sourcing decisions.
Negotiate technical and business contract terms and manage supplier relationships to ensure adherence to Intel's procurement policies, risk mitigation strategies, and business objectives.
Drive supplier capability development to meet future technology, quality, capacity and cost requirements. Influence supplier roadmap alignment to support business growth.
Drive supplier diversification strategies to improve competitiveness and supply chain resilience.
Manage disputes with suppliers and internal partners in partnership with finance and legal teams, ensuring smooth resolution and minimal business disruption.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or with 5+ years of experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline.
Strategic sourcing, commodity or supplier management experience.
Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and engineering driven sourcing decisions.
Proven experience developing and executing commodity strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
Global sourcing, supplier development and local supplier ecosystem development experience.
Strong knowledge of supply chain risk management and business continuity planning.
Strong business acumen with the ability to align supply chain strategies to overall business objectives e.g. leading Total Cost of Ownership initiative program/project.Exceptional communication and group problem-solving skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience driving sustainability initiatives and ensuring regulatory compliance in supply chain operations.
