Description
The Maintenance Supervisor leads the plant maintenance technicians in predictive/preventive and reactive maintenance to ensure the reliability, performance, and safe operation of all production and utility equipment. Key responsibilities are to minimize unplanned downtime and support continuous production to driving the plant’s operational objectives.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
- Associate’s Degree in Mechatronics or technical field preferred
- 5-10 years of Maintenance experience in a continuous or high-speed manufacturing environment
- Strong expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Proficient in preventive and corrective maintenance, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement strategies.
- Knowledgeable in maintenance systems, documentation, and key performance indicators (MTTR, MTBF, uptime)
What You Will Do:
- Oversee and perform diverse duties to install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
- Manage reactive maintenance teams assigned to equipment repairs and emergency interventions.
- Provide prompt response to crises and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Mentor and motivate Maintenance Lead Technicians and Maintenance Technicians to ensure high performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving.
- Ensure reactive maintenance teams are properly trained and compliant with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper workflow for reactive maintenance, including work orders and parts consumption tracking.
- Oversee inventory management by adding and maintaining parts in stock.
- Drive adherence to action plans, deadlines, and preventive maintenance execution.
- Utilize downtime to perform planned corrective maintenance tasks.
- Manage small-scale projects and implement improvements focused on safety, quality, and machine performance.
- Engage with suppliers to introduce new ideas and solutions for operational enhancements.
- Address chronic equipment issues and coordinate internal or external support as needed.
- Provide 24/7 availability to support maintenance team requirements.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Work around varying temperatures
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus
