Description
Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Program Manager II. This is a hybrid position that will take place out of our office in Moon Township, PA (Pittsburgh area). We are able to offer relocation assistance for qualified candidates within the United States.
The Program Manager II’s primary responsibilities are to lead cross-functional project teams on globally integrated new product development programs. Projects will be executed within phased gated process framework. The Program Manager II is responsible for managing deliverables across the team to ensure delivery is aligned to committed schedules, cost goals and constraints, and product quality. This role communicates project status across the organization leading their teams to deliver project objectives in support of Eaton’s Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB), Air Circuit Breakers (ACB), Medium Voltage Circuit Breakers, Vacuum Interrupters and Meters and Relays (M&R). You will further advances with the state of the art of program management and team excellence through meeting continuous improvement objectives.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year.

## What you'll do:
### Program Management & Execution
- Lead programs end-to-end, developing and executing comprehensive program management plans that include scope, budget, schedule, resources, risk management, communications, and business case alignment.
- Establish program baselines and effectively manage scope, timelines, and deliverables while navigating complex business requirements and changing priorities.
- Monitor program performance against objectives, communicating progress, identifying gaps, and driving corrective actions to ensure successful outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to established phase-gate methodologies (e.g., PROLaunch or equivalent) and maintain accountability for program execution throughout the lifecycle.
### Financial, Risk & Strategic Decision Management
- Manage program performance against approved business cases, ensuring alignment with financial targets and strategic objectives.
- Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate program risks, develop contingency plans, and capitalize on opportunities to maximize program success.
- Drive accountability for meeting business and financial commitments, clearly communicating the impact of technical and program decisions on financial results.
- Utilize data-driven decision-making frameworks, balancing analytical rigor with timely execution while considering stakeholder and customer outcomes.
### Leadership, Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead and integrate cross-functional, geographically distributed teams, ensuring effective resource allocation, collaboration, and team performance.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, influencing decision-makers, securing commitments, and escalating issues when necessary.
- Facilitate clear, transparent, and effective communication across all levels of the organization, including the delivery of difficult messages and action plans.
- Foster a positive, high-performing team culture by recognizing contributions, promoting accountability, leading by example, and maintaining resilience through challenges.
## Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product development, manufacturing, or engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in project management with direct responsibility for schedule, communication, risk management, financials, cross-functional leadership and product quality.
- PMP Certification that is completed or to be completed within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 or more years’ experience in Program Management in new product development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer science or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution.
- MBA from an accredited institution.
## Skills:
- Experience in stage gate process, proficient in waterfall and critical path methodology.
- Experienced in New Product Introduction (NPI) programs from idea though launch.
- Experienced in stakeholder management in a matrix organization.
- Proficient with MS Office suite of tools including Microsoft project.
- Experienced Agile/waterfall hybrid methodology.
- Building team and organizational capability.
- Understanding of engineering principles with respect to electromechanical devices or systems.
- Understanding of accounting principles, business acumen.
- Proven Leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team (IPT) environment across multiple sites and customers globally.
- Fully demonstrating to proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation aptitude and public speaking experience.
- Detailed planning ability and strong organizational skills.
- Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and an innovative mind set.
- Practical experience and understanding of the electrical industry such as construction and industrial markets.
- Ability to travel up to 10%
