Experienced Wheel Repair & Powder Coating Technician (Night Shift)

Shift: Night Shift
Compensation: Pay based on experience
Overtime: Available as needed

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Wheel Repair & Powder Coating Technician to join our fixed-site operation in Hollywood. This position is responsible for repairing and refinishing automotive wheels while delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate has experience with wheel repair, powder coating, and mounting and balancing tires.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Repair damaged aluminum and alloy wheels using industry-standard techniques.
• Prepare wheels for refinishing, including sanding, stripping, cleaning, and masking.
• Apply powder coating finishes while maintaining high quality and consistency.
• Operate powder coating equipment and curing ovens safely and efficiently.
• Mount and balance tires accurately.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with additional shop duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in wheel repair and refinishing required.
• Experience with powder coating required.
• Experience mounting and balancing tires required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in an automotive repair or wheel refinishing environment.
• Familiarity with shop tools, paint equipment, and powder coating systems.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
