Description
The Senior Executive supports actuarial valuation, reporting, forecasting, and business analysis activities. The role provides critical execution support across multiple actuarial processes and contributes to the efficient operation of the valuation function
Position Responsibilities:
1. Valuation and Financial Management
Prepare actuarial valuation inputs, analyses, and reporting outputs.
Support reserve calculations, Drivers of Earnings reporting, and management reporting activities.
Perform reconciliations, validations, and investigations of actuarial results.
Assist in forecasting, planning, and financial analysis activities.
2. In-Force Business Management
Support monitoring of persistency, claims experience, and key business performance indicators.
Assist in preparing analyses relating to crediting rates, cap rates, and dividend recommendations.
3. Business Support
Support actuarial analyses for management requests, business initiatives, and strategic projects.
Assist with preparation of presentations, reports, and supporting documentation.
4. Continuous Improvement
Support automation and process improvement initiatives.
Maintain documentation, controls, and knowledge repositories.
Contribute to improving the efficiency and scalability of actuarial processes.
Required Qualifications:
Actuarial student actively progressing toward actuarial qualifications.
2–4 years of relevant actuarial experience.
Experience with actuarial modelling systems is preferred; knowledge of AXIS would be an advantage.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and willingness to learn in a lean and dynamic environment.
