Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience

Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery

Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities

Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards

Manage tables by bussing, resetting, and ensuring cleanliness to uphold high sanitation standards

Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed, demonstrating culinary knowledge when appropriate

Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like OpenTable or cash handling procedures

Maintain excellent guest relations by responding promptly to requests and resolving any issues professionally

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining

Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast, Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous

Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally

Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling techniques

Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or cashiering enhances your ability to excel in this role

Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours

Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing
