Job Overview
Position Summary We are seeking a Full Time Trade Assistant, reporting to the Fabrication Team Leader and Operations Manager to assist our fabrication
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Read blueprints and engineering drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
- Completing Cutting Lists and preparation of materials for fabrication
- Building of sub-components to support fabrication team
- Basic Pressure Testing
- Oxygen Cleaning Parts
- Workshop Clean-up tasks
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
- Work within a fabrication team and take direction from team leader as required
Position Type: Full-time
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Holds current drivers licence and can drive a manual (Desirable)
- Holds a current forklift licence (Desirable)
- Punctual, reliable and hardworking
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Proven history within a logistics/warehouse environment will be highly regarded
