OverviewThis position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting individuals with aphasia and their families. The successful candidate will assist in managing daily operations, ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of care and support.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the oversight of programme development and implementation.Support the management of staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and positive environment.Engage with clients and their families to provide guidance and support.Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness and client satisfaction.Coordinate events and workshops to promote awareness and education about aphasia.RequirementsProven experience in a supervisory or management role within a healthcare or community service setting.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping others.Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.Understanding of aphasia and related speech and language disorders is desirable.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with client management systems.Nice to haveExperience in non-profit organisations or community outreach.Formal qualifications in healthcare, social work, or a related field.Knowledge of fundraising and grant writing.
