Description
As a key member of the leadership team, the Maintenance Manager provides technical support to manufacturing operations, leads capital improvement initiatives, and collaborates cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Finance to drive operational performance and continuous improvement.
How You Will Help
- Lead and oversee all maintenance activities for facility infrastructure, utilities, production equipment, and support systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
- Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and operational performance.
- Manage maintenance work order priorities, planned maintenance schedules, emergency repairs, and maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate equipment installations, modifications, relocations, startups, and facility improvement projects.
- Lead capital improvement projects, including project planning, budgeting, cost justification, vendor selection, contractor management, and project execution.
- Manage maintenance inventories, critical spare parts, and supplier relationships to support operational requirements.
- Supervise, develop, and coach maintenance personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, cost reduction efforts, process improvements, and equipment reliability programs.
- Promote and enforce compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including Lockout/Tagout and other applicable safety standards.
- Monitor maintenance performance metrics and develop action plans to improve equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and overall operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Leadership teams to support business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Bring
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or degree preferred.
- 3+ years of maintenance leadership experience; 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and drawings.
- Proficiency with CMMS, CAD software, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience managing budgets, capital projects, and vendor/contractor relationships.
- Strong leadership, team development, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to respond to maintenance emergencies outside normal working hours when necessary.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
