We’re hiring Off Season Facilities Associate to Live. Work. Explore. for the off-season starting in November, 2026 through April, 2027.
Job Summary:
The Off-Season Facilities Associate will be located at our employee dormitory in Estes Park. Job requirments include daily property walkthroughs, performing preventive maintenance and general housekeeping duties in each dormitory room while unoccupied during the off-season. There will also be some work organizing the warehouse, stripping an sealing the employee dining room floor, filling and sealing asphalt cracks in the parking lot and constructing a small storage shed. A complete list of weekly job assignments has been developed so the incumbent is clear on the work to be performed each week.

Responsibilities
- Daily: Check heaters under office and in water heater shed. Check heater in employee dining room on water rmain. Check one-third of all rooms for any leaks or mechanical issues. Check mail.
- Twice a Week Activities: Start and Run all six company vehicles. Run water in back building rooms (sinks and toilets).
- On Call Activities: Check the grounds for snow and ice removal. Check parking lot for unauthorized vehicles. Be visibly present on property to prevent break-ins.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM) all dormitory rooms to include filling holes in walls and spot painting, replace lightbulbs as needed, test all electrical outlets and detectors, and note any repairs requiring outside contractors.
- Deep Cleaing all dormitory rooms including the removal of mattress covers (wash and hang dry in warehouse), clean bathroom shower walls/tub/fixtures, clean bathroom toilet, clean bathroom walls/floor/door, clean refrigerator / microwave, clean sink/fixtures/mirror and associated cabinet, mop floor and wipe down walls, and clean window sills, glass and shades.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform basic repairs including painting and touch ups, minor plumbing repairs, basic electrical work (changing fixtures, switches, outlets) and minor door hardware adjustments.
Ability to identify maintenance issues, safety concerns, cleanliness deficiencies, and cosmetic damage that others might overlook.
- Deep cleaning experience and interest in providing a quality rooming product for our future employees.
Ability to maintain work orders, track supplies, document completed work, and manage multiple rooms and projects efficiently.
Proven record of dependability, integrity, and responsible access to employee housing and company property while working alone.
Physical Requirements include:
Ability to safely perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, moving furniture, climbing ladders, painting, cleaning, and working on feet for extended periods.
