- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute an integrated sales and digital marketing strategy targeting mid-sized businesses for payroll services and proprietary software tools.
- Operational Sales & Campaign Management: Oversee day-to-day sales operations, drive performance across acquisition channels, and execute multi-channel marketing initiatives (SEO/SEA, CRM campaigns).
- Process Optimization & CRM Rollout: Evaluate, implement, and optimize CRM and sales automation platforms to modernize lead pipeline management and internal workflows.
- Budget & Data Ownership: Manage the combined sales and marketing budget. Analyze market trends, competitor insights, and conversion KPIs to refine product positioning and pricing.
- Strategic Partnerships: Represent the company at industry events, build relationships with key B2B partners, and coordinate cross-functionally with internal payroll and software teams.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in B2B sales and marketing, including hands-on team leadership.
- Sector Background: Background in the German service sector—ideally within payroll, HR services, finance, or B2B software/SaaS solutions.
- Digital & Technical Mastery: Practical proficiency with CRM systems, pipeline management, and digital marketing tools (SEO/SEA, analytics frameworks).
- Leadership Style: Pragmatic, close-to-the-work leadership approach—able to coach team members while actively executing operational campaigns and client interactions.
- Education: University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Language Skills: Professional proficiency in German (minimum C1) and fluent English (written and spoken).
- Location: Based in or near Berlin with the ability to maintain a regular onsite presence at the Berlin headquarters.
Candidate Profile
- Data-Driven & Analytical: Comfortably uses data to evaluate campaign ROI, conversion rates, and sales pipeline health.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Highly proactive with a strong hands-on mentality, taking full ownership of initiatives from concept to execution.
- Communicative Networker: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across team members, clients, and external stakeholders.

- Net-Salary Optimization: Choice of tailored benefits including mobility allowances, food subsidies, and corporate mobility programs.
- Health & Well-being: Internal yoga classes, free drinks/fresh fruit, and comprehensive work-life balance initiatives.
- Culture & Team Spirit: Flat hierarchies, direct decision-making, regular team events, and a positive, supportive team environment.
- Professional Growth: Dedicated budget for internal/external training, seminars, and leadership coaching.
- Equipment: High-quality technical setup for both office and home workspace.
