Proposal Lead

We're looking for a talented Proposal Writer to join our Commercial Strategy Team. In this role, you'll support the delivery of high-quality tender submissions for commercial strategic and public sector opportunities, working closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the business. This is a home-based role working on a full-time, permanent basis.

SALARY: Up to £35,000 per annum (DOE)

What you will be doing as a Proposal Writer:

• Identify new proposal opportunities and own that proposal from start to finish.
• Write compelling, customer-focused tender and proposal responses.
• Review tender documentation and identify key requirements and opportunities.
• Coordinate stakeholders to gather information and manage submission timelines.
• Support SQs, PQQs and tender submissions.
• Proofread and quality-check content to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain and develop proposal content libraries and best practice resources.
• Support continuous improvement across proposal and bid processes.

What we would like you to bring:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Also experience using AI tools and Adobe software.
• Experience in proposal, bid or tender writing is desirable but not essential we would consider experience in procurement or publications or recent graduates with relevant experience.
