The Senior Planner, Planning is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production planning and scheduling activities to ensure efficient utilization of resources, timely delivery of products, and alignment with business goals. This role involves close coordination with cross-functional teams including Production, Procurement, Sales, and Logistics to balance demand and supply effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and maintain master production schedules in alignment with sales forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.

• Analyze material requirements planning (MRP) data and ensure timely procurement of materials to support production schedules.

• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to manage order priorities, delivery commitments, and forecast accuracy.

• Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and recommend corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.

• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, lead time reduction, and inventory optimization.

• Review capacity loading and coordinate with production teams to balance workloads and minimize downtime.

• Prepare and analyze reports on production performance, material availability, and planning accuracy.

• Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing start-up production plans and coordinating with engineering and quality teams.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

• Mentor and guide junior planners in developing planning competencies and system knowledge.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in production or material planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
