Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves spearheading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality, while continuously refining solutions to meet evolving requirements. The engineer actively drives progress by managing priorities and addressing challenges that arise during the software development lifecycle, ensuring that the applications are robust, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and standards within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship to support the growth and development of team members.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align project objectives and deliverables with business needs.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google BigQuery.
- Experience in designing and optimizing complex queries and data models within cloud-based data warehousing environments.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and cost optimization strategies in large-scale data processing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with software development teams to integrate data solutions into broader application ecosystems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Google BigQuery.
- This position is based at our DDC5E - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
