The Role:
The Engagement Advisor serves as an initial point of contact for leads, referrals, and prospective clients, helping individuals understand available Community Supports services and determine potential eligibility. This role engages prospective clients by phone, email, and messaging while building trust and guiding them through the intake and engagement process.
The Engagement Advisor works closely with internal teams, health plans, and strategic partners to support a seamless client experience and contribute to engagement and conversion goals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Engage leads and prospective clients by phone, email, and messaging to understand their needs and educate them on available services.
- Gather client and caregiver information, conduct care assessments, and support eligibility determination and health plan submissions.
- Guide prospective clients through the engagement process, answering questions, addressing concerns, and supporting conversion.
- Maintain accurate and timely lead, client, and activity information in Salesforce.
- Coordinate with internal teams, health plans, and strategic partners while tracking performance against established engagement and sales goals.
This is a hybrid position, coming into the El Segundo office 1x per quarter.
Work Schedule: Business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Depending on the position and business needs, employees may be required to work any scheduled shift within these operating hours.
What You Bring to the Table:
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Communications or a related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience engaging customers or prospective clients by phone, email, or other communication channels.
- Experience working toward established performance or sales goals.
- Knowledge of Salesforce or Salesforce Voice is a plus.
Skills
- Strong phone, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Relationship building and customer engagement.
- Sales, objection handling, and goal orientation.
- Organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
