Lending Regional Director

About the Role

As Lending Regional Director, you will lead, coach and inspire a network of Mobile Bankers to deliver sustainable portfolio growth and exceptional customer outcomes across Queensland North and the Sunshine Coast.

Reporting to the Head of Lending, you will translate strategic priorities into clear, actionable plans that strengthen new business acquisition, customer retention and lender capability.

You will drive growth across home lending while supporting opportunities across business lending, deposits and non-interest income products through effective business development, referrals and team enablement.

You will use performance insights to identify trends, address underlying challenges and implement targeted strategies that improve individual and team results. A key focus will be developing capability across business development, relationship management, customer engagement and complex credit submissions.

Through visible and purposeful leadership, you will create an inclusive, accountable and customer-focused culture. You will support recruitment, succession planning and talent development, champion change initiatives and ensure your team maintains strong operational, credit, regulatory and reputational risk standards.

About You

You are an experienced sales and lending leader with a demonstrated ability to coach teams to achieve growth, customer experience and performance targets.

You bring practical experience in lending sales and business development, together with strong knowledge of Australian retail lending.

Your background includes sound residential lending and credit submission capability across PAYG and non-PAYG customers. You are commercially astute, proactive and confident using performance insights to identify opportunities and improve results.

You are an influential and adaptable leader with strong relationship management, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills. You are comfortable leading through change, managing risk and balancing commercial outcomes with the needs of customers.

Most importantly, you are passionate about developing people, building a collaborative and inclusive culture, and empowering your team to deliver outstanding lending and customer outcomes across a geographically dispersed region spanning Queensland North and the Sunshine Coast.
