This person will operate within a high-tempo, mission-critical environment, providing situational awareness of ASI whenever shared systems, equipment, servers, applications, or services are required to be down to accomplish either a short notice (uncoordinated) or pre-planned (coordinated) maintenance activity, supporting real-time operational readiness for USEUCOM.
Primary Responsibilities

- Determine risk levels associated with proposed maintenance windows and recommend approval or denial; prioritize conflicting ASIs and guide escalation pathways when issues cannot be resolved at the working level.
- Conduct root cause analysis for repeat ASI-related issues and interpret operational data to identify trends impacting mission readiness.
- Conduct senior-level executive briefings; engage directly with senior DISA Europe leadership, mission partners, and cross-functional technical teams.
- Prepare DISA USEUCOM DNC priority/high interest ASI presentations or DISA's Morning Operational Brief; develop clear, concise, and technically accurate reports and briefings for general officers and senior staff.
- Track and report on high interest ASI items, fielding an average of 150 informational requests per month.
- Review ASI portal inputs and analyze the potential impacts of local/Enterprise scheduled and unscheduled events; assess potential impacts to critical infrastructure and assets supporting assigned missions, and report results of the analysis and assessment.
- Maintain situational awareness for DISA EUR Leadership through monitoring, directing, coordinating, and de-conflicting DISA coordinated maintenance actions; serve as the senior coordination point for ASI actions within the USEUCOM AOR, providing guidance to technicians and analysts during maintenance coordination or service interruptions.
- Coordinate Periods of Non-Disruption (POND) impacting the USEUCOM area of operations based on risk assessments and desired end-states; coordinate conflict resolution and escalate issues that cannot be resolved or de-conflicted to the DISA EUR Battle Captain.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry, validation, and reconciliation within ASI-related systems such as ITSM, WWOLS, ServiceNow, and GVS.
