Product Manager Mortgages

As a Product Manager Mortgages, you play a key role in managing and developing ING's mortgage products, propositions and strategic portfolio initiatives for one of ING's largest and most strategic portfolios. You ensure that our mortgage products continue to evolve in line with customer needs, market developments and regulatory expectations, keeping the portfolio relevant and future-proof.

ILM Proposition Development

You will join the team responsible for Product Management, within the Area In Life eXperience, within Mortgages NL, combining product management, proposition development, and commercial execution.

ILM Proposition Development ensures that ING's mortgage propositions continue to meet the evolving needs of existing customers throughout the lifetime of their mortgage. The team drives customer value, portfolio value and regulatory compliance through proposition development, product management, customer engagement and strategic partnerships focused on financial health, sustainability, retention and portfolio optimization.

Purpose of the job

As Product Manager Mortgages, you are responsible for managing and developing ING's mortgage product portfolio throughout the customer lifecycle. You drive the continuous evaluation and evolution of mortgage products through product reviews, product lifecycle management, portfolio rationalisation and strategic portfolio initiatives. By translating customer insights, market developments and regulatory expectations into product improvements and proposition changes, you ensure our products continue to meet customer needs and support ING's long-term portfolio ambitions.

Your responsibilities

• Manage and develop ING’s mortgage product portfolio throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Drive the continuous evaluation and evolution of mortgage products through product reviews, product lifecycle management and portfolio rationalisation.
• Translate customer insights, market developments and regulatory expectations into product improvements, proposition changes and strategic portfolio initiatives.
• Translate product and portfolio objectives into effective customer communications and activation initiatives.
• Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders across ING, including Legal, Compliance and Operations, to successfully implement product and proposition changes.
• Act as a subject matter expert on mortgage products and advise stakeholders on complex product-related topics.

About you

• You bring extensive experience in mortgages
• Experience as product manager or customer journey expert
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
• Proven stakeholder management experience in a complex organization
• Commercial mindset and ability to deliver impact
• Fluent in Dutch and English
