Job Summary
Responsible for monitoring multiple large-scale program activities, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. Facilitates communication across departments, monitors program timelines, and supports project implementation to enhance program effectiveness. Tracks and ensures the schedule, budget, and details of various project and program tasks are well organized. Analyzes data, prepares reports, and provides regular updates to program leadership. Identifies and escalates issues and risks and recommends solutions. Leads and provides guidance and support to other administrative team members.Does this position require Patient Care? No
Essential Functions
-Leads the coordination and monitoring of multiple program activities, timelines, and budgets.
-Organizes meetings and events, prepares agendas, and attends and participates in stakeholder meetings.
-Assesses and escalates program risks and issues and provides solutions.
-Conducts research, maintains and analyzes data in systems, and develops reports to support programs.
-Assigns and monitors resources effectively to boost program efficiency and maximize deliverables.

This position supports the MGB research enterprise, and the candidate will get substantial exposure and experience in managing the research enterprise at MGB.
The MGB Research Oversight Committee (MGB ROC) is a governing body of research leaders and faculty who advise MGB on matters concerning the research community across all MGB institutions. ROC is comprised of a core membership and several subcommittees that focus on particular activities.
Under the leadership of and working closely with the Vice President of Research Strategy and Faculty Development and the Administrative Director of ROC, this position supports the programming and communication needs of ROC. The candidate will need to be highly organized and goal-oriented, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
This position plays a key role coordinating, scheduling, and preparing agendas for the many monthly ROC and ROC subcommittee meetings, as well as coordinating internal communications for ROC related activities and grants. The Senior Program Coordinator coordinates communication that serves to support not only ROC initiatives but those of MGB Research and will work in tandem with the internal Communication Specialists.
This position provides direct administrative support to the Vice President, Administrative Director, and other ROC staff on an ongoing basis. Responsible for coordinating multiple large-scale program activities and providing administrative support, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. Facilitates communication across departments, monitors program timelines, and supports project implementation to enhance program effectiveness.
