Job Description 

We are now offering a unique and great opportunity to join our team at Vialto in Copenhagen or Aarhus, a truly global technology firm specializing in global mobility services. We advise many of the largest international companies and their employees on complex matters related to tax, social security, immigration, equity and compliance cross border matters. We are now looking for ambitious associates to strengthen our Danish team.

As a Tax & Social Security Associate, you will gain hands-on experience in international tax advisory and develop valuable insight into how some of the biggest global companies manage compliance and mobility across jurisdictions with the best technology solutions in the industry. You will work closely with highly experienced colleagues and become an important part of an engaged, multidisciplinary and technology driven team.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Together with a team, you will advise clients on the tax and social security aspects of employing people in an international context

• Provide day-to-day support to mobile employees, including guidance on processes, policies, and documentation

• You will assist the clients’ mobile employees with their practical personal income tax aspects and ongoing tax matters, including tax compliance;

• Assist with preparation of tax returns, tax applications, and tax calculations for mobile employees

• Help manage business travel compliance, including documentation and regulatory requirements (e.g., PWD)

• Contribute to client service delivery through coordination with colleagues and external providers, reporting, and ongoing communication

We are looking for you, who

• Have a master's degree in Law, Economics, or Business Studies or a bachelor's degree in Accountancy/Taxation and/or strong knowledge of tax principles and the double taxation treaties;

• Communicate confidently in both Danish and English

• Are good and have fun with numbers, have strong analytical skills and strong attention to detail

• Have an interest in tax, international law, or global mobility, which is ideally supported by experience from studying abroad, a relevant student job, or similar

• Have a keen interest in technology and being open to learning how it may be used to drive data driven solutions.
