What You’ll Do
This role sits at the heart of On Location’s monetisation strategy for the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games. Because of the sheer scale of the Games, our pricing team operates on a cluster model: you will own a defined group of venues end-to-end and become the definitive pricing, product, and commercial-strategy expert for them — while maintaining a working understanding of the full program so your venues are positioned correctly within it.
Act as the Subject Matter Expert for an assigned cluster of LA28 venues, developing deep, differentiated knowledge of their products, demand profile, inventory, and commercial dynamics — and using that expertise to direct strategy for those venues across the wider business.
Own the full pricing and yield lifecycle for your cluster, from initial price setting through in-market yield management, across all sessions and hospitality products at your venues.
Build and maintain a strong working picture of the entire LA28 hospitality monetisation landscape, then translate venue-level insight into clear recommendations that shape program-wide pricing and commercial strategy.
Apply rigorous pricing and revenue-management discipline — elasticity, segmentation, dynamic pricing, discount and bundling frameworks — to set, defend, and adjust price points for your venues.
Manage strategic inventory holds and release strategy for your cluster to maximise yield and ensure high-demand assets are monetised effectively without selling out prematurely.
Partner closely and daily with Product, Sales, and Ticketing to operationalise pricing, resolve inventory issues, approve discounts and bulk deals, and keep pricing and inventory systems accurate and aligned for your venues.
Navigate the operational complexity of a large-scale, fast-moving Games environment: anticipate issues, make sound commercial decisions independently, and keep execution on track with minimal oversight.
Serve as the go-to expert for anything pricing- or monetisation-related at your venues, representing your cluster confidently in cross-functional and leadership forums.
Monitor sell-through, competitor pricing, and market trends for your venues, and recommend timely, well-reasoned adjustments.
You Have These
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
A strong pricing and/or revenue-management background — this is a pricing-led role and demonstrable pricing expertise is essential.
Highly operationally savvy, with a proven track record of delivering in complex, high-pressure, fast-moving projects or environments.
The ability to work autonomously, think on your feet, and make reasoned, commercially sound decisions with limited direction.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills across all levels.
We’d Love If You Also Have These
Prior Olympic, major-event, or large-scale live-events experience.
