Job Summary

The Shared Data Services Analyst is responsible for the critical databases which include our Customers, Vendors, Contracts and Employees functionality in the Oracle ERP system. As a valued member of the Finance team, the Shared Data Services Analyst is responsible for supporting daily master data management activities. Various activities will include, but not limited to, the following areas: Customer Master Data Base, Vendor Master Data Base, Legal Contracts, and ZOLL Employee hierarchy. The main purpose of this role is to perform entry, update, and approve data information into ZOLL's Oracle EBS system or any other data base systems. This includes communication with customers, vendors and with other ZOLL departments to understand, improve, standardize, and govern Master Data Base related processes. Maintain and ensure access controls so that data integrity is maintained and consistently monitored. Execute monthly auditing procedures on all databases maintained in order to test and ensure integrity of data. Adherence to professionalism, accuracy, integrity and teamwork is a requirement.

Essential Functions

  • Process requests for new customers and update current customers’ information into Oracle EBS system.
  • Research and analyze the current Customer Master data file. Main goal is to clean up the current data base of duplicate accounts/addresses or accounts that are no longer being used in Oracle.
  • Process requests for new vendors and update current vendors’ information into Oracle EBS system.
  • Research and analyze the current Vendor Master data file. Main goal is to clean up the current data base of duplicate accounts/addresses or accounts that are no longer being used in Oracle.
  • Maintain and update ZOLL’s employee hierarchy into Oracle EBS system.
  • Ad hoc data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
  • Support related projects across the organization.
  • Document current state processes, assist in putting together a future state design.


Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • 1-3 years Of experience in database administration required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle databases
  • In depth knowledge of Customer Master Database in an Oracle ERP System.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate recommendations.
  • Experience and strong understanding of various IDN hospital billing requirements.
  • Experience and strong understanding of setting up Oracle customer account relationships.
  • Ability to maintain integrity and honesty at all times.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate with transparency.
  • Continuously drive to improve processes for improved performance.

The hourly pay rate for this position is:

$32.00 to $38.00
