For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- 2 years of experience as a Securities Settlement Analyst
- Ability to monitor and ensure end-to-end settlement of security transactions, including pre and post settlement activities and associated clearing and custody processes.
- Familiarity with securities referential data management, ensuring data integrity in coordination with responsible teams.
- Proficiency in Python for developing and implementing automated solutions that streamline settlement workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in VBA to build or maintain automation within existing systems supporting securities settlement and accounting processes.
- Proficiency in Power BI to analyze and visualize data related to transaction, event-based accounting, and settlement operations.
- Foundation in financial markets, with working knowledge of securities transaction lifecycles, custody operations, and related legal documentation requirements.
- Fluency in English (B2)
- Availability for Hybrid model, 2-3 times a week, based in Lisbon
- Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
