The Role
Position: Analyst (ID Admin) (Temporary)
Bi-Weekly Salary: $2,555.22 - $3,191.77
Division: Infrastructure Operations

Location: Regina, SK
On a day-to-day basis, the Analyst position will be responsible for processing Identity and Access Management (IAM) incidents and requests across multiple customers to add, remove, or modify user accounts (delivery of IAM services). Most customers have SLAs that we are responsible for achieving. The position will also be responsible for supporting internal and customer audit processes.
IAM is a system that manages user identities and access permissions on a computer network. It involves authenticating and authorizing user access to resources such as applications, data, systems, and cloud platforms. IAM helps ensure that the right people or machines have access to the right assets at the right time for the right reasons, while keeping unauthorized access and fraud at bay.
NOTE: the term of this temporary position is up to three (3) months.
Responsibilities
Provide Identity and Access Management (IAM) services following defined procedures, such as:
Create, modify and disable/delete user IDs and access
Reset passwords
Provide IAM service to multiple customers, including queue management for multiple customer all within the same day
Provide IAM service on multiple operating systems (z/OS (mainframe), Linux, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris; Windows, O365, Azure) and multiple security platforms (RACF, Top Secret, Active Directory).
Understand and follow Kyndryl, ISM and Customer security processes used by ISM IAM including: User ID and Access Administration, Continued Business Need Revalidation, Privilege Authorization Review, Privilege Access Revalidation, and Shared Id Re-justification & Password Management.
Facilitate the revalidation processes: ensure data is gathered and submitted and syntax errors corrected, ensure required responses are returned.
Use tools in execution of procedures such as UAT (User ID Administration Tool), AD Manager, zSecure, GRC, GLPi, ServiceNow, Office365, Azure, Exchange, Powershell.
Understand and ensure compliance with Kyndryl security policies (Customer Security Document (CSD)) and customer security policies.
Participate in Disaster Recovery tests from an IAM perspective.
Participate in Kyndryl, ISM and customer audits, as required.
Provide technical expertise for internal & external clients, for innovations and projects, where IAM is a component.
Implement current logical security processes with automation, where possible, to meet customer needs.
Assist in establishing, documenting and maintaining security standards, policies and procedures.
Follow ISM’s Problem and Change Management process to ensure that targets are being achieved, incidents are being captured, ownership assigned, and resolution handled.
Attend customer meetings, as required.
Assist customers with ad hoc questions and requests that covered by the scope of services for the customer contract.
Who You Are
Qualifications
University Degree, or diploma from a two-year program in Computer Science/Data Processing, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
Some knowledge of computer fundamentals; structured analysis, design, and programming techniques; and current operating systems & environments.
Ability to develop structured programs or procedures.
Ability to research, analyze, and resolve problems.
Good interpersonal organizational, oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work either independently or as part of a team.
Skills and abilities acceptable to the client.
Key Skills & Abilities
The following skills and abilities are considered an asset for this position:
Some knowledge of security computer fundamentals.
General understanding & some experience in Identity and Access Management.
Good customer service skills.
Strong independent self-learner.
Good communications skills for interfacing with all clients & auditors - both internal and external.
Ability to prioritize and manage your daily workload across multiple customers.
Some skill level on Intel operating systems (Windows, Linux), particularly Active Directory.
Some mainframe experience, z/OS & z/VM security administration (RACF, Top Secret), and VSE & zLinux.
Skills in UNIX Operating systems (Linux, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris) and tools.
Skills in Cloud (Azure AD, O365)
General understanding of multi-platform environments, including network & storage technologies.
Certifications related to Identity and Access Management.
Strong team player.
Share on-call duty responsibilities if/when required.
Work overtime if/when required to meet workload demands.
