This job is responsible for maximizing the value for one or more products. Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with product owners or specialists to ensure they are aligning on priorities. Job expectations include ensuring delivery of products that meet client expectations, including features, security, availability, resiliency, timelines and costs.
Tech Delivery lead is responsible for working across the Engineering organizations within Application Production Services & Engineering towards our cloud and container strategies.
The candidate will work along side other team members to collect key metrics, normalize them, and publish them to be consumed by senior management. Initially the reporting will focus on “what we currently have”, but will mature into “how can we optimize”, and then will help communicate the message to the Senior Leadership Team, and to the respective CIO Partners.
Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining project schedules (Work Breakdown Structures)
Managing milestones, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
Facilitating technical discussions and resolving delivery blockers
Work as a team member with other technical staff
Generates the vision and roadmap for the program based on customer requirements, industry trends, regulations, and the strategic direction for the business or technology domain
Communicates the program vision and roadmap to stakeholders, product owners and the teams
Oversees the budget(s) for one or more products by working closely with finance partners on both personnel and non-personnel expenses
Provides input into defining business capabilities and aligning them to products or creating new products to support them
Ensures product availability by partnering closely with demand and capacity teammates
Develops business cases for new products and additional features for existing products
Partners with the product owners and the teams to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and subject-matter expertise and understanding of the business and industry trends
Required Qualifications:
Proven ability to manage and facilitate multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously
Strong experience maintaining detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to track tasks, dependencies, and timelines
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Highly proactive with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness
Comfortable working with diverse technical, operational, and business partners
Skilled in planning, coordinating, and delivering complex project deliverables involving multiple teams
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities; willing to support team members as needed
Capable of clearly communicating objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with standards
Skilled in stakeholder identification and relationship building
Experience in facilitating regular meetings to track progress and remaining tasks
Capable of facilitating cross-organizational sync points to enable delivery
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics and engage with senior leaders (CIO 1 Deeps, Risk Lead Level)
Analyze and manipulate high volumes of technology data
Engage and influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment
Comfort with ambiguity; flexible and able to navigate changing priorities and adjust to new learnings
Develop and implement strong processes and standard routines for operation
The ability to “tell a story” by using data to market, optimize, and clearly provide the value of the organization
A team leader, whom can bring different points of view and converge on a single aligned message
A willingness to learn and adapt new processes and technologies as the business continues to evolve
