As a Loan Support Associate, within PNCEF’s Cash and Funding organization, you will be based in Cincinnati, OH.The Loan Support Associate is responsible for the timely and accurate application of payments received from Equipment Finance clients across lease and loan portfolios. As a member of the Cash Posting team, this role researches, processes, and posts payments while ensuring all transactions are applied correctly within established service timeframes.
Core hours for this role are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am ET - 5:00 pm ET.
Responsibilities include collecting and scanning physical checks received in the office, reviewing and posting cash receipts, researching unapplied or unidentified payments, resolving payment exceptions, monitoring rejected automated transactions, and completing daily operational reports.
The associate utilizes LeaseWave and InfoWave systems to process individual and bulk payment transactions, investigate discrepancies, and reconcile account activity. This includes researching payments received without remittance information, determining the appropriate lease or loan account for application, and partnering with internal stakeholders when additional information is needed.
This position also manages payment-related inquiries received through a centralized group mailbox, which primarily contains remittance information used to support payment posting activities. The associate reviews supporting documentation, matches payments to customer accounts, and works closely with Collectors and Account Managers to resolve outstanding items when payment details are incomplete or unavailable.
The team processes a high volume of transactions, averaging approximately 200 payments per day, with significantly higher volumes occurring around the 1st, 15th, and 30th of each month. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Successful candidates will possess experience in payment processing, cash application, loan servicing, banking operations, financial services, or a related field. Basic Excel proficiency, including filtering and sorting data, is beneficial, along with the ability to navigate multiple systems and research complex payment issues.
This role does not involve direct customer interaction and is focused on operational excellence, transaction accuracy, and effective collaboration with internal business partners to ensure payments are applied correctly and within established timelines.

Job Description

Partners with internal and/or external business partners to route communications, documents or other action items to complete transactions. Identifies and may address or resolve exceptions; escalates appropriately. May interact with customers and have assigned accounts or portfolio.
- Ensures the appropriate materials and documentation are available to complete transactions.
- Provides responses and documentation to inquiries and ad hoc requests. Completes research and provides feedback on workflow and work received.
- Reviews transactions and related documents and verifies work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy and conformance to established service levels and applicable policies and procedures.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $33,750.00 – $56,250.00Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.Application Window
