Summary/Team Overview

 

This position is responsible for supporting the Head of Strategic Partnerships and the SVP of Strategic Partnerships in managing and growing the firm’s private wealth distribution relationships. The Strategic Partnerships Group (SPG) is part of LaSalle’s Private Wealth Group (PWG), which raises capital across wirehouses, regional firms, banks, IBDs and RIA custodians. This position will help assist the SPG team in managing relationships and building partnerships across Tier 1 and Tier 2 client firms, with additional responsibilities for several Tier 2 and Tier 3 firms. The role will educate on Alternative Investments and Private Real Estate, and grow sales for JLL Income Property Trust and JLL Exchange. It will also support additional PWG offerings, including three additional private wealth products currently in development for 2026 - 2027. This role works closely with all areas of PWG, including marketing, sales, due diligence, legal and operations.

 

 

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

 

This position reports to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and will support the team in executing the organizational framework in place to service and grow existing relationships, and will independently manage several Tier 2 and Tier 3 relationships. Specific accountabilities will include:

- Support relationship management for Tier 1 and Tier 2 strategic relationships, and serve as primary relationship manager for several Tier 2 and Tier 3 relationships; support coverage of fintech platform partners (e.g., CAIS, iCapital, Subscribe)

  • Be a key resource for each firm’s research and due diligence team, relationship manager, compliance and legal team, operations and external and internal sales team
  • Build relationships across the firm and its various departments
  • Coordinate activity between appropriate contacts at LaSalle and the selling group firm

​- Support ongoing efforts to stay in front of client firms, find ways to increase sales, get additional products approved and strengthen the overall relationship

  • In person and virtual meetings and calls
  • Help prepare and deliver quarterly sponsor reviews to current clients that include: firm overview, wholesaler activity, platform availability, sales data, additional capabilities, marketing activities, etc.

- Coordinate and attend industry conferences

  • Educate advisors on LaSalle/JLL and real estate
  • Promote available product offering(s)

- Provide sales team information on selling group firms and their advisors

  • Distribution guide
  • Platform and research information
  • Recap of conferences
  • Best ways to work with advisors at that firm to improve efficiency and effectiveness of sales process
  • Weekly territory review calls

- Data analysis and AI-enabled efficiency

  • Review client firm data
  • Utilize Salesforce reports to understand sales at client firms, target specific advisors or segments for campaigns and conference follow-up, etc. 
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline reporting, meeting prep and research, helping the team work more efficiently and effectively
  • Identify opportunities to apply data analysis and AI to improve SPG processes and client insights

Qualifications/Experience

  •  5-7 years of financial services experience, with a focus on National Accounts / Strategic Partnerships or intermediary distribution preferred.
  • This role requires working with external clients and understanding how to work effectively with internal resources: marketing, wholesalers, research, asset management, shareholder servicing, technology, etc., to bring the appropriate resource commitment to a given client.
  • Demonstrable experience working in teams to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Currently holds series 7 and 63 securities licenses.
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with a working knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). Demonstrated ability to use AI tools in a professional context (e.g., research synthesis, meeting preparation, reporting, CRM hygiene) is expected, not just preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a business-related field and advanced business degree is valued.
  • Travel will be required.

Estimated compensation for this position:

135,000.00 – 150,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
