The Transitional Assistance Department (TAD) is recruiting for a CalSAWS County Coordinator* who will serve and represent as San Bernardino County's Primary Point of Contact to CalSAWS (California Statewide Automated Welfare System) for all CalSAWS related items and activities. The CalSAWS County Coordinator will work closely with the assigned CalSAWS Regional Manager. The CalSAWS County Coordinator plans, organizes, and directs activities with the CalSAWS Project; guides staff engaged in analyzing, testing and implementing the application; and ensures the Department’s goals and objectives are accomplished. The incumbent is also responsible for planning and meeting with internal and external users for preliminary study of system change requests; advising and assisting users with the development of project priorities and schedules; and outlining business analysis needs.

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
Travel: Travel throughout the County and State may be required. Employees will be required to make provisions for local transportation; travel throughout the state will be at the provision of the employer.
Sponsorship: Please note San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.-AND-
Qualifying experience must include at least one (1) year as a full-scope supervisor or manager with primary responsibility for program or policy development in any of the following programs: CalWORKS, Medi-Cal, CalFresh or Welfare-to-Work, which must have included assisting deputy director or executive level management in the recommendation and formulation of policies, program/office procedures and work standards required to implement projects impacting department-wide operations. This experience may be gained concurrently with the two (2) years of experience required above.
*Equivalency is defined as completion of 60 semester or 90 quarter units from an institution accredited by the U.S. Department of Education
