Job Description:

Research Product Specialist – Regimens & Data Analysis 

Position Summary:

The Research Product Specialist – Regimens & Data Analysis supports the development, maintenance, and operational management of research treatment regimens and related study data. This position serves as a key resource for ensuring regimen accuracy, supporting protocol compliance, coordinating pharmacy reviews, and providing timely data and reporting to research operations and finance teams. 

The Research Product Specialist will work collaboratively with research, pharmacy, finance, and operational teams to improve the efficiency and consistency of research processes. The role will also help identify gaps in study assessments, support accurate reporting, and identify opportunities to improve research operations. 

*This is a new role in our Research Product Specialist team to support regimen building and research products. This is a remote role. The schedule is Monday to Friday 7:45am-4:15pm EST, may be adjusted but must be during core working hours.*

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, update, and develop research treatment regimens in accordance with approved study protocols, standard of care, and applicable requirements. 

  • Review protocol amendments and assess their impact on existing regimens, workflows, and research operations. 

  • Coordinate pharmacy review and communication related to regimen development and modifications. 

  • Extract and analyze research data to support operational decision-making, reporting, and study management. 

  • Prepare and maintain quarterly research reports, metrics, and operational summaries. 

  • Support CTMs (Verily) data reconciliation efforts and assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies. 

  • Monitor research metrics and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement. 

  • Identify missed or incomplete study assessments that may affect protocol compliance, study performance, or revenue capture. 

  • Collaborate with research finance and operational teams to address data and workflow challenges affecting financial and operational performance. 

  • Provide timely support for regimen requests and related research inquiries. 

  • Develop and maintain standardized processes and documentation to promote consistency and accuracy across research activities. 

  • Assist with other research operations, data analysis, reporting, and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as healthcare, life sciences, clinical research, business, data analytics, or a related discipline required; equivalent experience may be considered. 

  • Experience in clinical research, research operations, healthcare data, pharmacy, or a related environment required. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to interpret protocols and understand the operational impact of protocol changes. 

  • Experience working with data extraction, reconciliation, reporting, or metrics preferred. 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. 

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a growing research environment. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data/reporting tools; experience with research or clinical data systems preferred. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including research, pharmacy, finance, and operational stakeholders. Able to see clearly in an environment which is equipped with typical lighting. Able to perform manual tasks that require the use of fine muscle motor skills. Able to walk approximately one mile per workday. Able to lift 25 pounds. Able to stand and / or sit for prolonged periods. Able to freely bend/stretch. Able to access, input and retrieve information from computers. Able to tolerate frequent handwashing. Very fast-paced and ever-changing office environment. Demanding regarding deadlines and time frames. Very detailed and challenging work. Constant demand for updating knowledge.
